Oxygen-enriched combustion - VPSA oxygen generator plant

Oxygen-enriched combustion, or oxy-fuel combustion, refers to the use of industrial oxygen instead of air to burn fuel, which can reaches a higher temperature, make fuel combustion more complete, and greatly improve production. The large-scale production of glass melting kiln traditionally takes air as the combustion-supporting material, but through repeated experiments and studies, it has been proved that using industrial oxygen as the combustion-supporting medium can effectively save energy, reduce costs, improve environmental effects and reduce pollution. Therefore, the total oxygen combustion is gradually favored by similar industries.


The significance of oxygen-enriched (oxy-fuel) combustion is:

1. It can attain a higher temperature, which can accelerate the combustion melting process, greatly improve production.

2. It is conducive to environmental protection and energy saving

3. It can reduce the exhaust gas emissions and entrap dust in the exhaust gas, so as to reduce the loss cost, which is conducive to improving the stability of glass composition and environmental protection.

4. The application of the technology takes small floor area, is conducive to improve the operating environment and maintenance of the furnace.

5. The kiln has a simpler structure, which reduces heat dissipation and loss and is conducive to energy saving.

6. The temperature in the kiln can be easily controlled and has higher stability, which reduces the erosion of refractory materials of the furnace crown and side walls, therefore extending the life of the kiln.
