Process flow of low-temperature LNG storage tank - Doer Equipment The LNG from the external system enters the LNG storage tank and is stored after flashing of the LNG product (-161.2C, 18kPa). The flashing gas phase enters the BOG main and is sent outside the boundary. To reduce the risk of stratification of LNG in the storage tank, LNG enters the tank in two ways: one is feeding from the top, and the other is feeding from the bottom through an internal insertion pipe. Both the top and bottom inlet pipelines are equipped with remotely controllable control valves. An emergency shut-off valve is installed on the inlet main pipe, which is interlocked with the liquid level and pressure to prevent overpressure and overflow of the storage tank. Additionally, a top inlet pre cooling pipeline is installed, and a spiral spray device is installed below the suspended ceiling of the inner tank to ensure uniform cooling of the inner tank and avoid excessive local temperature difference stress. The daily LNG submersible pump circulates the LNG inside the tank to prevent stratification and rolling of the LNG inside the tank. The LNG in the storage tank is transported to the loading system through a submerged pump (one for backup and one for use).

Our erection / installation work of two sets of 1,500 m3 LOX/LIN Storage Tanks for a gas company in Hebi, Henan Province, central China is moving smoothly. The construction team consists of 1 Project Manager and 11 workers (welders, rivet workers and general workers). Currently they're working on the outer shell of the storage tanks. Penetration Tests (PT) will be arranged to inspect the quality of welds after the welds are grinded/polished. Raw material delivery is back to normal. Drivers and personnel are free to travel as long as they have the two required green codes: health QR code and travel history code.

DoerCryo's new ASU (Air Separation Unit) has been delivered to customer's site early June, 2022. Developed for oxyfuel (oxygen-enriched) combustion for a steelmaker in Jilin, Northeast China. Capacity: 6,000 Nm3/h gaseous oxygen, 260 Nm3/h liquid oxygen of 99.6% purity; and 6,000 Nm3/h nitrogen of 99.999% purity, Time scheduled for commissioning is in Aug, 2022. Good news that this late April, Doer Cryogenics has been awarded a new contract to build 3 atmospheric flat bottom storage tanks for an industrial gas company in Zhongshan, Guangdong, south China. The contract consists of 1 set of 2,000 m3 LOX storage tank, 1 set of 2,000 m3 LIN storage tank, and 1 set of 500 m3 LAR storage tank, which is part of a large scale air separation (ASU) project with a total investment of approxately $61 million. The customer is a private company, having several subsidiaries in north, east, south and central China. Although it is its first time cooperation with Doer, the customer acknowledged Doer's past achievements and we're also confident to delivery a satisfactory project.

Suzhou Doer Gas & Chemical Equipment (Doer Cryogenics) has been awarded a new contract for a LNG storage, distribution and regasification project in Malaysia for a customer in the paper and pulp industry this April. The project scope covers vacuum perlite insulated storage tanks, LNG unloading and loading arms, air (ambient) heated vaporizers, electric water bath recuperators, the boil-off gas (BOG) recovery system, escape air gas (EAG) recuperators, pressure regulating and metering skids, monitoring and control instrumentations (analyzer cabin), and instrument air (nitrogen) supply system etc. The system is to be delivered and commissioned late this year and great importance has been attached to the execution of the contract by the top management of the company. When completed, it would be another showcase project for Doer Cryogenics in the regions. There are many methods for the construction of vertical cylindrical storage tanks, such as the bottom-top method, the central column method, the roof air-raising method, the water float method, the top-bottom inner column method, etc. Today, the the top-bottom inner column method is more commonly used. Compared with the bottom-top method, the top-bottom method has high labor efficiency and low labor intensity. The construction personnel operate on platforms below 2 meters, so the personal safety is reliably guaranteed. The top-bottom method is divided into the electric hoist top-bottom method and the hydraulic jack top-bottom method. Compared with the hydraulic jack, the electric hoist top-bottom method not only has the advantages of simple equipment, simple operation, low cost, etc., but also does not use hydraulic oil, pressure components and other consumables, no oil leakage, and no pollution to the working environment.

April 26, 2022 Worley will carry out a fron-end enginering and design (FEED) study for the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline (NMGP) project which would run for more than 7,000 km, crossing 13 countries and would be the longest offshore pipeline in the world and the second longest overall. The longest is China's West-East gas pipeline which extends for 8,700 km. The overall contract value amounts to USD90 million. The project is promoted by Morocco's national bureau of petroleum and mines - Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines (ONHYM) and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Natural gas can become the fuel of choice in satisfying the growing world energy needs, addressing climate change and improving air quality, says the GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050. The total upstream and midstream investments will reach a hefty $8.7 trillion, it says. The Gas Exporting Countries Forum's (GECF) comprehensive report on the status of natural gas up to 2050 predicts the share of natural gas in the energy mix will increase from 23% today to 27% by 2050. Global energy demand will rise by 29% over the next three decades, with the majority of that increase emanating from growing economies in Asia Pacific and Africa, it says. The outlook expects the Middle East will deliver 32% of the global gas supply increase and sees a growing role for deepwater and unconventional resources.In his overview of new-edition of the outlook, Eng Mohamed Hamel, Secretary General of the GECF, highlighted the continued prominence of natural gas in various energy outlooks and pathways. Hamel said: [The GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050 underscores that investment in natural gas is critical for the stability of global energy systems. It projects that by 2050, total upstream and midstream investments will reach a hefty $8.7 trillion."

Fenyang 5000m3 LNG peaking shaving reserve station has been put into use. Shanxi Jintashan New Energy Company signed the LNG peak-shaving reserve station project with Doer Company. In early March 2021, shortly after the Chinese spring Festival, Hunan Hualing Lianyuan Iron and Steel Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Lian Steel") had already started intensive production and construction. According to Anadolu Agency (Turkey), 10/25/2021, Turkey's total gas consumption increased by 42.4% to approx. 4.36 bcm compared to the same period of 2020, where household comsumption grew by 8.5% and power plants consumption increased by 73.6% due to drought and lower hydro capacity over the last few months. The country's natural gas storage in August 2021 increased by 10.8% to around 2.69 bcm, accompanied by 24.3% increase in natural gas imports, incl. 27.6% increase in pipeline gas imports and 8.9% in LNG imports.

Russia could potentially export record volumes of the vital fuel to the continent this year, he said. Dutch and UK gas futures plunged more than 7% on his remarks after earlier hitting records, while U.S. prices for the fuel dropped 10%. But spot liquefied natural gas in Asia still soared to an all-time high. Europe's energy crisis is rippling through stock and bond markets, spurring inflation fears and threatening to cripple major industries. The region`s governments are struggling to respond, with little more than hopes for a mild winter to cushion the blow. Lower-than-anticipated supplies from Russia, the region's largest supplier, have been a major cause of the dire situation, according to some European officials. Gazprom's daily exports to Europe were close to record volumes earlier this year, but they fell in September amid increased domestic demand due to an early start of the heating season. The company also continues its storage-injection campaign at home, which is scheduled to end by Nov. 1. According to the evening news of CCTV13 New Channel of China Central Television (CCTV) on 2021/09/26, the first phase of Nancaofan Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Peak-shaving Storage and Distribution Station in Jinan, Shandong Province (China), had been completed and put into operation. The Project has a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan (US$207.7m) and a peak-shaving capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters per day. It is also the largest government gas storage project in China's inland area.
