In early March 2021, shortly after the Chinese spring Festival, Hunan Hualing Lianyuan Iron and Steel Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Lian Steel") had already started intensive production and construction.
After the short 3-day rest during the Spring Festival holiday, the construction team on the expansion line is full of energy, tightening the schedule and speeding up the construction.
Recently, the 37500Nm3/h vpsa oxygen generating unit (phase II) of the company's energy plant has been nearing the end of installation, and the next step will be a comprehensive preliminary commissioning stage.
According to the project plan, the unit will be put into operation within this month, and the oxygen will be delivered to the 6# and 8# blast furnaces of Lianyuan Steel, which will be the exclusive supporting equipment for large coal injection of blast furnaces enriched with oxygen.
Closely related to this, The 25000Nm3/h vpsa oxygen generating plant (phase I) was put into operation in early January this year. The two phase oxygen generating plants will be combined into 62500Nm3/h ULTRA-large VPSA unit with 80% purity, becoming one of the largest VPSA oxygen generating units in China.
