1. Basic requirements: Vacuuming workers should be familiar with the basic knowledge of vacuuming and be able to operate vacuum equipment correctly, master the correct connection method of vacuum pipes and valves, be proficient in the method of measuring the vacuum degree of a container with vacuum instruments, and be familiar with the general process requirements of vacuum leak detection.
2. Before the leak detection of the container, the operator should confirm that the container has been fully welded, has passed the corresponding non-destructive testig (NDT) and pneumatic pressure test.
3. Preparation work: Use a vacuuming unit or a vacuum pump to vacuum the container. The vacuuming unit and the pipeline should be checked for qualification and it should be confirmed that the ultimate vacuum of the vacuuming unit or vacuum pump can reach 1 Pa before opening the connecting valve with the container. The vacuum pipeline should have a bypass diaphragm valve and can be used for helium vacuum leak testing.
