While operating a VPSA oxygen plant, the oxygen compressors shall be handled with the following precautions.
1. Read the oxygen compressor datasheet for the normal operating parameters of the compressor.
2. Record the actual reading displayed during the operation every 1 hour.
3. If an alarm signal is generated, the cause must be found out immediately and the fault must be fixed in time.
4. The separator, cooler and balance container are all equipped with a manual drainage valve. A certain amount of water will be precipitated during each step of the compression. Remove the water by opening the drainage valves after every use or as appropriate to avoid the water entering any equipment down stream and cause any damage.
