How to implement the maintenance of the vacuum pump in a VPSA oxygen plant system?
1. The blower and vacuum pump in a VPSA oxygen generation system in operation can cause vibration of a huge amplitude. Additionally, the frequent actions of the pneumatic butterfly valve can cause pipeline vibration. These vibraiton can lead to the loosening of fasteners of the pneumatic butterfly valve itself or the loosening of the clamping sleeves of the connected air source pipe, which should be found and resoved in time.
2. During maintenance, long time contact between the adsorbent and the atmosphere should be avoided, and the contact time should not be longer than 2 hours.
3. The oxygen analyzer should be regularly checked, and its accuracy can be verified via the copper ammonia absorption method.
4. Clean or replace the filter in front of the blower regularly, and clean or replace the instrument air filter regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the instrument air.
5. Vacuum pump sealing water should be analyzed and tested regularly to ensure that the total hardness is within the specified range.
6. Refer to the respective operating instructions for the maintenance of the blower, vacuum pump, oxygen compressor and other equipment in the system.
